My Pet Rock: Mental Hospital Cell



In this shot the camera will dolly forwards through the bars to the inside of the Cell, where Oliver will be sitting. I liked how this one turned out, nice and gritty. Spent a fair amount of time placing each individual brick texture (there's over 150!), as it looks so much better than just slapping a wall texture directly over my wall drawn in Flash. I added a little chromatic aberration to the highlights of the bars, as a little finishing touch. Below is the entire image firstly from Flash, then with Photoshop work, and then it's separate foreground and background layers. Last two are an exciting brick close-up for when the annoying faces start to appear, and a floor close-up for when oliver is lying down.
